Shiplify is a service used to identify various location attributes relative to the shipping process. Carriers often charge accessorial fees when delivering to certain location types or when special equipment is required. Shiplify enables shippers to access the same location data that carriers rely on to identify these accessorial fees. Adding a Shiplify integration to your account will help to avoid unexpected accessorial charges by assuring accurate location details are provided to the carrier when rate quotes are requested.

How it works

1. Activate Shiplify integration in the Account page of the Configuration section.

   

2. Add locations to your account in one of the Locations pages in the Configuration section. Fill out the location details and click Submit.

   

3. The application will reach out to Shiplify to verify the location type as well as dock and/or forklift availability and store this information with your saved location.

   

4. Use the saved location in your shipments without worry of surprise accessorial charges!
